We are looking for new socks of all shapes, sizes, and colours!
Socks are the #1 thing homeless shelters ask for when seeking donations because homeless people are more likely to be suffering from foot health issues than other populations. With your help, people on the North Shore who are in need can live with some dignity, knowing that they have fresh socks to wear. Help bring a smile to someone who could really use something to smile about today!
CMHA North & West Vancouver is organizing a Sock Drive for the month of April to support our outreach clients on the North Shore.
Please drop off donations to our Sock Box located at:The Kelty Dennehy Mental Health Resource Centre
1337 St. Andrews Avenue, North Vancouver, BC
on the ground floor of the HOpe Centre at Lions Gate Hospital,
next to the HOpe Café. 604-984-5000, ext. 5190 Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
** We are also accepting new antiperspirant/deodorant and sweatpants **
Remember, this isn’t just about making someone feel more comfortable, having good socks is about having healthy feet!
