We’re excited to share an important update regarding our Peer Assisted Care Team (PACT) program. Effective immediately, PACTs across BC, including North Shore PACT, will be rebranded as CRCL (pronounced “circle”), which stands for Crisis Response, Community-Led.

This rebrand reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, community-based crisis response services to those in need.

What is CRCL?

CRCL is a mobile, community-led crisis response team designed to provide immediate, urgent mental health support for individuals 13 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis. These teams offer on-the-ground support through trained professionals, such as peer support workers, licensed clinical social workers, paramedics, and nurses. In addition to their professional experience, CRCL Crisis Responders undergo over 100 hours of training in trauma-informed crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
