In partnership with YWCA Metro Vancouver, the WorkBC Centre – North Vancouver provides services, programs, and support to help North Shore residents find meaningful employment.
WorkBC Centre – North Vancouver includes two case managers, one customized job developer, and a part-time counsellor. Our primary focus is helping those who have multiple barriers to employment.

Experienced Case Managers
Experienced case managers offer support with return-to-work action plans, provide one-to-one employment counselling, help with general career planning, and connect clients to community resources.
The centre includes:
- Resource library
- Phone, photocopier, fax and scanning service
- Workstations, computers, internet and MS Office
- Job postings and industry information
- Newspaper and business magazines
- Job search and career exploration workshops
- Knowledgeable staff to assist you
Job search activities can also include help with housing, income assistance, and disability, getting a birth certificate or MSP. We can also help connect you with other community resources.
